What parents are discussing...

Is your child a daydreamerNULL Does he often seem lost in his own world, far removed from realityNULL Bring him back to earth! 1: Day dreaming fosters a child's imagination, and enhances creativity. But if your child is a habitual day dreamer and tends to wander off a bit too often for comfort, it's time you did something about it. 2: Day dreaming can be very distracting. Your child may have difficulty completing the task at hand, because he tends to get distracted by day dreams. 3: Very often, your child's studies suffer as a result of constant day dreams. WHAT U SHOULD DO Observe your child: Is your child getting enough sleepNULL Is he too tiredNULL Or is he well restedNULL Exercise: Make sure your child exercises enough. Enroll him in tennis classes, get him interested in swimming, or encourage him to start playing cricket with the neighbourhood boy. TV: Reduce the amount of television your child watches. How do you deal with your child if he is daydreamingNULL Share with us!
  • I agree that activities do keep the kids away from day dreaming but sometimes it is good to ask the child to share his dreams. As a parent I love to ask my kid what is he dreaming about and why does he...
  • One more way to deal with the day dreaming child is to keep him occupied....
